One of the most amazing parts of Christmas is when the Magi or wise men visited baby Jesus they bought gifts to present to him. We see this Christmas season how these gifts are significant in our lives today.
The Magi come to Jerusalem seeking a new born King of Israel but did not find him there. The Magi was directed to go to Bethlehem. Once they located Jesus they presented Joseph and Mary with gifts.
The importance of each gift was that it conveyed a prophetic gift concerning the life of Jesus. Each of the gifts were a type of the three offices in which Jesus walked, namely , Prophet, Priest, and King.
The Gold represented the fact that Jesus was Royal ,a King. It was a custom that those foreign ambassadors would bring gifts to court for the favour of Royalty. Seek favour with The Lord in your life today and spend time with Him.
The Frankincense is extracted from a tree which is pierced and left all night so sap could run. You may find yourself in the dark night of your life right now, but if you will seek the Lord in this hour you will find that He is working something perfect out for you. Frankincense means "white" God will let pure living flow out of you. It represents the High Priestly ministry of Jesus as "He lives to make intercession for us." The priestly ministry is one that goes to God on our behalf. The tree was pierced during the night, making it useful at the darkest times of day.
The Myrrh it is very bitter to taste, it produced a fragrance so pleasing that it had great value in biblical times. The word Myrrh literally mans "bitter". Myrrh speaks of the office of the Prophet, and therefore most bitter. Jesus was a man of sorrow, both in His life an in His death. His joy comes from Obedience. To us who believe Myrrh symbolizes a life of discipleship. Often bitter precedes better in our life.
Decide today to fulfil your calling ask God and he will give you the nations as your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.

What we think determines who we are. Who we are determines what we do.
Romans 12v2 says, 'The actions of men are the best interpreters of their thoughts'.
It talks about having your mind renewed and the word 'renewed' means to renovate, to make new, to repair, to restore, to refashion. So how do we get a renewed mind?
1. Meditate on the word of God
2. Get disciplined
3. Keep practicing!
4. Think on what is best not worst
5. Praise, don't curse
God has not given us a spirit of fear but a spirit of power, love and sound mind.
Our behaviour will change when our thinking changes, so if you don't find a change in your behaviour, then question your thinking.

Martin and I left London with great expectation, flying to Dallas in Texas, both of us invited to speak at various events there. No sooner had the heavy door of the 747 opened than we were blinded by the bright sun of Texas - and the size of everything that lay before us!

On the Friday evening, Martin addressed some businessmen at a Dinner and led prayer for everyone. Shaneen, meantime, gave the opening address of the 2011 Women's Conference, 'Color your mind' speaking on the subject of renewing of the Mind. On the Saturday again Shaneen spoke and held a time of Ministry.
On Sunday, Martin spoke to a Church and from Isaiah 6 v 1-8 rallied the congregation to consider what they could do for the Church at this time as they expand their Mission across America and beyond. There was the opportunity for prayer and after five hours we had fulfilled our promise to pray for each and everyone there!
Since returning we have been receiving daily emails of healing and transformation that happened during our trip. There is nothing like seeing lives transformed.

We're delighted to be supporting Angel Tree charity again this year. Approximately 160,000 children in the UK have either one or both parents in prison. Angel Tree provides Christmas presents for these children. Our volunteers fundraise, buy the gifts, wrap and deliver them, each gift sent as though from the parent in prison who can also send a personal message with the gift. If the parent permits, a Christian storybook is also sent.
If you would like to support this wonderful charity you can donate a gift for a boy or girl for the amount of twenty pounds and bring it with you to 'A Woman's Call' on the 5th - or you can donate twenty pounds towards purchasing a gift.

Your work matters to God!
It was a great opportunity to speak this week at GlaxoSmithKline London on the issue of a 'world of work and world of faith' that can be so misunderstood. The issue of work and faith is a raw subject - we face many challenges there: perhaps struggling with co-workers, unclear on how to communicate our faith at work, or finding it difficult to keep an ethical edge.
I want to convince you that your work matters to God! You are created for significance and when you work you are doing something very God-like. In Genesis 2v8 we see God plant the Garden - and man created to cultivate it! You were created not to work by yourself but as a co-worker with God.
Through work we earn money to give to others
Through work we serve others
Through work we meet our personal needs
Though work we meet our families' needs
Through work we LOVE God.

2011 has been a year of disorder for many but the Lord is going to establish the work of your hands. This coming year is a year of 'establishment' and Psalm 90v17 says: 'Let the favour of God rest upon me, Lord, establish the works of my hands' and then David repeats, 'Establish the works of my hands.'
You are now entering into a season of establishment. After all the disorder you have experienced this year, God is going to bring divine order in your family, in your business, in your emotions and in your marriage.
Read this verse daily and see how the Lord will establish your work.
